Activity 5. "How to make stress your friend".
For Monday October 10th.
1. Watch the youtube video about stress, go to:

2. Make a short comment about it, make sure you are clear: Use the WH question "What do you think about this?" to make your idea for the comment.
3. Use your dictionary if you need it, or google for translate short phrases. The comment goes at the end of the video, in the comments area.
4. Don't forget to write your COMPLETE NAME AND GROUP at the end of the comment.
5. On your notebook, write that same comment too, and also, add a list of important words that you listened and remembered from Kelly McGonial's speach.

I liked the video. I think it's very interesting to try to see the positive side to stress.

I also agree that stress causes many diseases especially in the heart.
in the worst cases it can trigger cancer.
I think with a little more tolerance and also planning to put into practice the advice they give us in the video, stress may be our friend.

ResponderBorrarI honestly had no idea prior that stress. But she "Kelly McGonigal" is absolutely right, it is all internal in your mind and how you interpret stress.
It all about your attitude to the problem! Sometimes there is no reason to be stressed.
But I never saw stress in this positive way.
I think this video is very helpful for people who experience a lot of stress , to make them happier and healthier when dealing with stress. I was shocked learning about the causes of death that weren't stress related.
This made me realize how stress can be bad, but also good.
So it depends on man's attitudes toward stress, not stress itself.

All believe that stress is bad as it is a reaction that has our body when present a problem of the daily life or an unexpected situation, this can cause fast breathing, rapid heartbeat, sweat, anxiety and pressure.
ResponderBorrarBut exist a way for that stress benefits us, simply we must have an acttitude ans thinking different, for example the video he spoken of the study realized in the University of Harvard and before having the proof they told them how to harness stress, that heart beathing fast the body is preparing for action, this helped in performance because there is less stress and they are more confident.

BorrarAfter seeing the video, we must reconsider our view of stress; stress is not our enemy, we must do it our friend. What I considered most important is that when you change the way you think about stress then you can change your body's response to stress. Because stress will only be bad if you think that is so. In short it's great how the human body itself has an auto-responder to recover from stress. If we change the way we think about stress we have a better response on the control of our body and have a better quality of life.

ResponderBorrarWell, it was an awesome video, i really like it, Kelly was speaking about the stress, but, she was speaking about differents point of view of stress, she convinces you that the stress has to be your friend, you have to be calmed down when you fight with the stress, if you think that the stress is some good for you, you will have an answer in your body that is going to be an advantage, if you think that all is good, everything is going to be good, she really make us see the stress as an oportunity to be a great person and improve day with day, nowadays, I am student and I understand what is the stress, because always is near of me, the homework sometimes is so difficult or too much, and in some cases, the time to deliver it, is too short for us, and we must to do it to keep a good score, now, I can see the stress as an opportunity not only at school, also in my daily life.
